I almost did the same. But I didn't stick w/the Alcantara seats nor did I do the GTS interior package which means no GTS stitched on the seat headrests. So I figured I'd leave the GTS on the sides.

I took them off. Just left PORSCHE on the rear. Took the GTS off the side, and did the Black decal. As soon as you open the door , you have it on the Sill and on the dash.

Thanks, you can see why I did not use the magnetic side stone guards.
And I did not get the GTS interior package either, or the CLs.

Yes, ordered the car under a Targa GTS Allocation and everything I did was selected in the configuator, except for the custom bits:

I kind of wish mine didn't have CLs. I've been imagining all kinds of horror thoughts in my mind regarding a flat tire, or even just finding a tire store that can do it. I will be buying a torque multiplier soon.

I was not afraid of the horror stories since I imagine that those are isolated cases since if they were really a problem they would not be selling so many cars with them and people would be selecting the optional wheels, as I did. Personalyy, I did not like the way the CLs look since they are just too busy for me and I like a simpler wheel...nice to have options.

I didn't opt for the CLs on my GTS order either. I would've been okay with them. But after a lot of thought, prefer the non-CL wheels, both in appearance and practicality.
The stock wheels will be used for my winter setup (a set of Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4s are on the way from Tirerack). Gonna do aftermarket, slightly wider wheels for a summer setup, probably from either HRE or Forgeline.
