Default Would you guys hold the dealer to task on this issue?

I picked up my 991 GTS from the dealership a few months ago after a couple of warranty repairs, namely the wiring subharness to the left rear and replacement of the parking ebrake control module. As part of the repair they had to go in underneath the felt or composite cover behind the rear seats and over the engine.
In going in or coming out they bent the front edge of the metal clips that sit in the cover. I'm not sure what these clips are even there for, maybe a cargo net or tethering a seat belt. I probably would not have even noticed but the service advisor volunteered that they had been bent and he had ordered a new set because the car was so nice otherwise. Fast forward 2 months. I had not heard anything so I called him up. He said he would look into it and call me back. Of course he did not call back. I'm sure he forgot originally to order them. Would you guys continue to pursue this or would you be happy to just have the car back and fixed otherwise? I will try to show in pictures but suspect they will load upside down as they usually do.

Get it fixed. Might just need to be a little more patient, but will be worth it. Your service advisor dropped the ball. Give them the opportunity to make it right.

Agree.

Not sure on what they are since I have a Cabrio, but they look like top tether anchors for a car seat.

Thanks for the quick responses. I wanted to see too if anyone knew what these were for.

When the dealer would not return my calls, and I gave them sufficient time and no call back, I called PCNA. I relayed my issue and within 30 minutes my problem was solved. I was given the name of the head person at the dealer that would resolve my concern. At the completion of my service i then once again updated PCNA, they conversed with the dealer and the matter was closed. I normally just deal with someone at the dealer, but when I was brushed off, I went over their heads. PCNA also provided me with a satisfaction confirmation number. Best of luck.

I went through this as well with the file number and everything when the ebrake issue was not correctly fixed the first time. Dealer became very attentive after PCNA contacted them. Several people told me it is very important to PCNA that the customer is happy. I'm not sure why this isn't as important at the dealership end.

Yeah the guy said he would order new ones then didn't. For sure I would follow up and make sure they fix it.
