Yes. My car is the only car with 18-ways that I've felt the bolsters so tight, and I've probably sat in a dozen 991s w/ 18-ways. A few were also very tight but not quite as bad. Latest was a 2015 GT3 for sale at local dealer with identical seats. GT3 seats fit me like a glove. Go figure.

The 14-ways are definitely more comfy but lack proper support for such a driving machine IMO.

Are the side bolsters adjustable width wise on the 18 ways?

My bad, get them replaced under warranty. You should have no problem claiming the different width if it's that apparent.

. Yes the bolsters are adjustable both at the lower back and thighs/****. Endlessly play with both thinking they were stuck or something but no luck getting them any looser.

Yes, losing a few poundscertainly would not hurt but I don't think it would help either. Worth a shot. I'll report back right after the holidays!

Just was chatting with a GTS owner today who was looking at another GTS that was optioned more to his liking. I can understand. I've dumped so much $ and effort into my car, makes me content.

Every dealer I've been to has preowned GTSs and TTS priced fairly closely. I'd go TTS because the extra 100 HP and low end torque are what works for me.

Same here...I still look in the HFS section LOL! I did get lucky and find my 1% chance dream car though, and traded in my only one-year older 991S on another one this past August. Just sayin'.....it could happen!

U guys aren't alone.

Also traded my new 2015 S after 14K miles in 17 months for new 2016 GTS which has 7K miles in 5 months. All driving is pleasure. I figure these cars are meant to be driven and that means year round.

Still look on cars.com almost daily.
Hey you never know!
