Saw an ad for this in Panorama. Anybody tried it out yet? My car doesn't have parking sensors or back up camera, and to add that is quite expensive, with a lot of assembly/disassembly. This could be a solution. If you've bought it, let me know your experience, please. And does the OBD plug fit OK?

Several threads on it here. I own one and love it. Works beautifully and the image quality is better than nearly every OEM camera I've seen. I just open the app when approaching my car and by the time it's fired up I am staring at the rear-view camera. The object detection works fairly well and is somewhat similar to a parking assist radar.

Only caveat is if your car is constantly garaged you may have to charge the plate once every 3-4 weeks because it's solar powered.

Just installed the Pearl. Had to turn off car blue tooth first to then install
Pearl blue tooth and then it worked like a charm.

Pretty cool product. They mentioned an auto start but not sure that works on an I phone.

The auto start only works with android. When you place your android phone on the phone mount it automatically opens the app for you.

An update to the iPhone app has it turn on a notification that you can swipe to bring it up the app, once it detects it is on the mount. Not the same thing, of course, but an improvement over the first iteration.

I have the app on my first page so it isn't a big deal to me to bring it up fast.

This is Rennlist at its best. I had no idea this product existed and I need it bad. Ill be ordering later tonite and installing on arrival.

No more trying to turn my creaky neck around trying to see whats in the back. One fantastic idea.

I wanted a rear camera but I didn't want to mess with trying to hardwire one into the car. This was a nice, simple solution. Easy to install and easy to use.

I don't like keeping my phone on the dash (the vent mount works fine) so after I back up, I grab my phone and put it in my door pocket where I usually keep it anyways.

I dont like the position of the mount on the vents in the car so I am going to use the Rennline car mount that attaches to the console.

the magnet holder from Rennline works great in the macan and should work well in the 911 also.

I use mine now all the time. It is a great mod to a car that does not have a rear camera. Quality 1st rate and it works. I use the vent mount but whatever works for you so you can use it properly.
