I wax my wheels once a year with Rejex. Works great.

I'm a yuge fan of the RejeX Wax. Since I started using the Optimum Gloss Coat 3 years ago, I just like it better. Prep is a little harder, but the final application and ease-of-cleaning the dirty wheel is improved.

Talk about prep, my truck sits outside so I used it on it. About killed me getting it all off. But a year later, nothing's sticking to it and it still beads up.

Ceramic coating won't prevent swirls. I had 4 coats of ceramic coating put on one of my cars, and a year later I still had accumulated a few marks here and there (despite very careful car washing).

It does reduce the tendency to swirl but it doesn't eliminate it.

That's why it's better to get a new ceramic coating each year and get a reasonably priced one ($300-500) versus spending a lot ($1500+) and doing it only once. I speak from experience.

These coatings last a long time, and they will bead water for years. However they will still swirl at some level that is visible in one year.

Default My experience - drying worse than washing for swirls

I use a waffle microfiber towel to dry my cars. You lay the towel over the area and pat it (no rubbing required) and it absorbs the water. Works quite well.

I got mine online at Esoteric Fine Auto Finishing

Gyeon Q2M Waffle Dryer Microfiber Towel. 24 x 32
$16.95

FWIW, I did paint correction, clay bar and alcohol cleaning then applied 22ple quartz finish. Done 2 years ago and still repels water and resists dirt.
