Default 997 vs. 991 tow hook threading?

Just got a 2013 C4S a couple of weeks ago coming from a 997.2 C4S.

I bought the car out of state and have to have the inspection changed to my state's sticker. Unfortunately, this means that I'll have to be wearing front and back license plates while taking it through the inspection station.

Does anybody know if the tow hook plate mount from my 997 would fit on the 991? I don't care if it blocks my parking sensors as it will literally be on for all of 15 minutes - I just need to have it on while it's being inspected.

I guess I could just try to put it on later this evening but am far too lazy not to check with the internet first...

If it won't fit, any other ideas for a simple fix? I'm guessing zip ties are probably the answer?

the tow hook threading is different between 997 and 991. The new ones turn counter clockwise to tighten.

And, at least on the C4S front bumper, the tow hook insert is a lot deeper into the bumper - thus requiring a longer bolt than the 997.

Double sided 3M tape. Just use a few squares and then take off same way you would debadge a car.
