They're live auctioning it in May. Expected to sell for $700k +

Nice! But...whats up with the two tone sport mirror? Looks like the head of my old Taylormade R1 driver

Won't sell for anywhere near that. Ridiculous they would even do that.

Behind a velvet rope?? How cheesy.

991.2 GT3 will be out with a manual and same engine. There goes that bubble.

Useless post.....

Plus you'll be able to get the GT3 without the cheesy speed racer stickers. It'll be hilarious when the people who bid these things into the stratosphere lose their shirts on em.

This R is the epitome of Porsche marketing/carrot dangling. Just irritating.

99% of guys couldn't get anything more out of an R than a manual 991.1 GTS

I was more pissed than most having had a deposit down and being number one on the list behind the 918 owners. Never happened for me. I was even willing to pay sticker. I've bought a lot of hyped cars when they were first released and commanding msrp+. I bit once. This car probably would have made me do it again. That said I don't think I'd pay much over. $700k is just stupid for what it is and what I would use it for. That's half of a nice express I've been eyeing.

Thankfully though, we live in a free market. If it's worth that to someone then god bless'em. I don't blame the dealer who's trying to make a buck off of idiots and I don't blame Porsche as they know it helps sell stupid macans. Doesn't mean I don't still love the car and wish it were mine. I'll probably lick it while there and then they'll just give it to me...

Lol, will do!

Not going to video my "marking" of it though...

Weird that there's no urinating emoji available..

Btw, I think you were on roadfly way back. The E46 M3 was the only car I paid over for and it was maybe $1k but I wrung every ounce of it out of that chassis!

Yep, that was a fantastic car. Coincidentally, I'm wearing my RoadFly T-shirt right now

Testify.

More than that, I won't come close to wringing out my MT 991.2 C2.
