I took his comment to mean that you don't want to be the guy that hops out of his P car wearing a P hat, P sunglasses, P fannypack, P jacket, P underwear, P racing shoes, P sweatpants, P socks, P watch, etc, etc.

^^ Because buying the "matching apparel" to go with your "already-flashy sportscar" is seen by the rest of the world (and me) as a sad cry for attention, not to mention a horrible fashion faux pas on its own.

"Look at me! Hey! Over here! I own a Porsche. It's parked outside! See, I have the shirt on to prove it! Whaddaya think about that, huh??"

That has nothing to do with Porsche Design Sunglasses and why they may not be a good choice. Sunglasses is the only thing this thread is about.

BTW they get a lot of good reviews on Amazon on their own merits.

Okay -- if in your world scheme logo'd sunglasses with the word "Porsche" on them are different than a shirt with the word "Porsche" on it, have at it! That opinion won't be shared by your friends and business associates who know you have a Porsche and then see you sporting some sporty Porsche sunglasses. They will roll their eyes over it -- if they're polite it will only be behind your back. I, as a true friend, am telling you to your sunglasses-shod face.

Cheers!

Nope.

1) They're not expensive. Other people's in the thread were, not mine. Just tasteful.
2) not a one of them had a Porsche logo!

Done deal. On sale way cheaper from a Amazon 3rd party seller - $275. Should work nice with Guard Red, black leather and the top down.

Next up - Outdoor car cover. Again thinking the OEM Porsche on Suncoast may be top quality.

I have some Porsche "stuff" but also have a rule about one thing at a time. never a hat + jacket for example... One thing is fun.

Regardless of the work I've done to mine... about 12-15K in "little" stuff... it's still pretty stock looking and far from the flashiest Porsche let alone car at any gatherings.

Are you going to get the glasses or a PDK first?

My sunglasses are Ray-Ban and Maui-Jim's I do have three Porsche Baseball Caps, two were gifts from the Porsche Travel Club, on two driving tours, one I did buy at the Museum in Stuttgart. But I do have a rule that I only wear one at a time. The wife has one Hoodie, with a small Porsche logo, I've never seen her wear it outside our yard. I do have some Biker Friends, Harley boys and girls, that I swear have HD on everything they own/wear. I do have one Honda M/C Cap that is parked in my little Merc, its purpose in life is to keep the top of head from getting burnt when the top is down.

Assuming you have only one head, this is a very good call.
