That's where I go. Service is A+ there. You can get a loaner, or they will even give you Metro card. I drive there, drop it off, then take the Metro in to work. The station is right there.

PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) not PPF (Paint Protection Film).

Probably buying from the owner, not a dealer.

You'd still want to have it done by an independent shop unless is CPO

I recommend Porsche of Silverspring, MD over Porsche of Arlington.

Car has no warranty, expired. Would that stop you?

Of the other matter, if I were to do a PPI I would do it at Intersport Performance at Tysons and not at dealership.

Tyson's doesn't do PPIs. Arlington does - I had one done there on my previous 991.1S.

Intersport is pricey but I have heard great things about them - I would consider them for a PPI (I have never used them, though). There are a few other independents in the area that are pretty good, too, from what I have heard.

I have been going to Porsche of Tysons for over two and a half years for service/maintenance and have had nothing but great experience with them.

I have heard horror stories of trying to deal with Porsche of Tysons to buy new although I do have a friend that bought a used CPO 997 4S from them and had a great experience (he also had a great experience buying another CPO 997 S from Annapolis). Several people I have talked to have also had great experiences buying new and used from Silver Springs.

Not with a PPI and a fair price. Would be helpful to know the condition of the car and its history, of course.

I do all my business with Porsche of Tysons. Chad runs a great service shop.

For an independent PPI you could use Autobahn, Intersport, or ASG just to name a few.

Any oil change specials? I'm at my first one and want to have it done by Porsche, I have one for Rockville but I need to do inspection as well.

My personal preference is:
RRT Racing for all things relating to BMW
Intersport for Porsche
Glaswerks for auto detailing.

PS. There are many great places to take your cars in DMV area.
