Beautiful build on your S. Wish I had ordered the leather back seats, they look great.
Well you could have added 18 way seats and glass sunroof to the GTS, too...not sure what your point is?

My only point is that the wide body conveys no measurable performance advantage over an S with the same engine. The GTS was a wonderful package, though. Lot of people (although not all) love the wide body look.

Dude, you are still rocking the orange turn signal lenses. Pop those suckers out and upgrade to the clear LEDs.

Can't we just bag on gold chain-wearing Corvette drivers, instead?

So, with your spacers is your track as wide as a GTS?

GTS was a great deal on a bundled package when new. Used - it does depreciate slower and in 20 year [one can likely speculate] it will likely be a much more desireable and more $$$ carerra.

The GTS does not in any measurable way enhance performance and if it did - you would see a lot more comp tests.

The wide body is very cool and definitely looks great! The old narrow body 911's just didn't look right. The regular 991 is a wide body - the 4S/GTS is a Kardashian/JLo body.

I would agree with all of this.

Our gold chains just don't rattle and have gold clasps holding it together instead of cheap plastic.

Having driven a 991 "S" Club Coupe w/ Power Kit, 2015 GTS and a 2016 GT3...here are my thoughts:

Club Coupe = "Hybrid" car (PCCB's, duck tail etc); has the GTS/Aero front lip and is quite low (also lowered slightly). AMAZING comfort on long road trips, plenty of power and a lot of fun.

GTS = Raw, great sound and love the look. Provides a great bridge between the CC and the GT3. Has PDCC and 7MT. LOVE the setup

GT3 = BEAST! Not meant for a trip to the market...BUT is surprisingly comfortable @ highway speeds and the power/handling is off the charts.

Personally, if I could only have one...I would own a Turbo S (or maybe C4S spec'd properly). To me, that would give the best of all worlds.

Even if a Turbo @ and Carrera were priced similarly, they are for different people. The Carrara is way more fun to drive.

Disagree here. Let's lap a 991.1 s vs a 991.1 GTS. Bet that it's substantially better on track. Street drivers will never know the difference but it's there. If it pacifies you than so be it but in the back of your mind you know the superior vehicle.

It is and I have envy - they were beyond my means or I would have bought one.
