Default 1 year / 10K Service

i have a 2016 C2GTS which just turned 1 year old last week with 6050 miles. The plan is to drive the car from northern New Jersey to Cape Coral, FL during Thanksgiving week. The car will stay in Florida until ~early April. I would like to hear the communities thoughts on whether to service the car in NJ before the trip or FLA once I arrive. If the consensus is to service the car in Florida I'd be interested in any feedback on either Ft Myers or Naples dealerships and Service Advisers.

It's just an oil change.

DIY it or just have it done before your trip. $280-$340 at dealer.

Plus they can do any computer updates as needed for your year model.

I like changing my oil at 5K intervals.

Service on the West coast is a no brainer-Suncoast in Sarasota. Take a short drive, drop off car, enjoy the great food. Living all over the state for 40+ years it's the only place I'd reccomend

First oil change on a new car?
Get it done now before the trip and no worries about servicing in FL.
