Default Remember the Transformer toy Jazz?

Anyone who grew up with the original Transformers cartoon remember that Jazz was a slant nose 930.

For fun I picked up this modern 3rd party company figure where the car mode is based off of a 991 car, kinda looks like a cross between a GT3 and a standard Carrera

Yes, I do remember, they don't make transformers like they did in the 80's.

80s toys (my generation) were usually unsafe toys but today's toys are just too parent proof and what not. I feel bad for today's kids that they just won't get cool toys of the 80s.

transformers theme song is stuck in my head for some reason now along with Optimus's catchphrase "Autobots, transform and roll out"...

Anyone who 'grew up with Transformers' is, what, 19?

WE had wood burning tools; devices in which you could melt wax and mold your own toy soldiers, annihilate them with dirt clod bombs, then pick up the pieces and remelt them to make another platoon; chemistry sets; miniature chemical factory building sets with bubbling tanks and electric pumps; metal Erector sets with razor sharp edges; BB guns; the list of Darwinian selection tools goes on and on.

Good times. Good times...

Transformers cartoon (not the movie) ran in the mid-80's so anyone who grew up on them would be 40ish now.

My kids grew up with the Transformers cartoon. My oldest son especially loved them and had numerous characters/vehicles.

Ahhh....the sweet smell of burning wood when using the superheated wood burning tool. And don't forget Creepy Crawlers where you can take toxic liquid, pour it into a metal mold, heat that metal mold to a seriously unsafe temperature in order to make flexible plastic Creepy Crawlers to leave around the house for the damn dog to chew on.

Hmmmm, have to blame the attorneys for those quality safe toys not being on the market today!! But we sure had fun with them at the time.

Based on current laws it seems that none of us should have survived our wild childhood.

And then there's this...
