Squeaky door hinge -- lube or fix?
Another hot day (such a surprise in Texas, after all!) and the doors squeak like crazy again. Was on and off before, but now it is positively irritating. By putting my finger on different bits of the hinge I think I have established the one that vibrates:
So does it look like something I can lube -- and if so, how, WD40 on the pin? -- or is it a symptom that is best addressed by the dealer under CPO?

Max, that is not a door hinge in your picture, in the auto industry it is typically referred to as a door brake. Notice that it is made of a composite material and if you rub your finger over the exposed part you will feel some indents. These work with a pair od spring loaded steel rollers just out of sight inside the door. The purpose of this component is to provide three distinct detents that hold the door open at different amounts and to keep the door from overextending. The factory lube seems to be a chalky dry silicone lube. A quick available substitute would be a spray can of lithium grease. It sprays out a straw like tube as a liquid, but quickly dries to a thin coating of grease. (This is handy thing to have in the in the garage with multiple uses)
On our car the single exposed bolt in your picture came a little loose, this made a creaking noise every time the door was opened. Tightening it up fixed the squeaky creak.
