Steering Wheel Swap??

Got to have the sport design wheel. A lot of 991's I'm looking at do not have it. How hard is it to swap from a multifunction heated steering wheel? And what do you think the cost would be .
Or maybe I should just keep looking for one that has what I want.

You can swap out a 991.1 multi-fxn wheel for a Sports Design wheel easily enough but it will require an additional control stalk to be added to your control column to allow you to control the functions previously controlled by your wheel. Cost? You can find a used Sports Design wheel for $750 and the control stalk will cost you $265 or so. Add 2hrs of labor for install and you're talking about probably $1300-1500 in total out of pocket costs.

and don't forget dealing with the airbag... I've been looking to do the same thing. I got the multi and just don't like the way the thing looks vs. the sport design.
