Beautiful color - love the wheels and the entire look. Glad you got time on the autobahn too.
And...if you want to make those rear reflectors go away, please get in touch with us.

Great looking car!! One of the best PTS colors that I have seen, and the standard Carrera S wheels go very well with the deep blue. Congratulations after what I'm sure was a long wait.
Post some more pics; I'd love to see the interior. For those of us in the "official waiting room" it makes the days go by faster!

Thanks for all the complements, I figured there would have to be a few Nogaro fans out there. I just hope that it doesn't become a popular color.
I meant tonally pale, not pale in quality.
Thank you! I've never heard of a Viper green RS2. I'd love to see that.
As for my total wait, it's a bit complicated. It depends on where you start measuring. I started with a winter 2015 GT4 pre-order, with the plan being that I would get a late production slot in Nogaro Blue. As things would play out, the GT4 allocation never came and my Nogaro approval did not come through before production ended. My recollection is that the paint approval took 5 months and car was ordered first week of April, then built in July, for my requested September European delivery date.
San Marino is MUCH darker than Nogaro. Santorini is very close, minus the pearl and a dash of purple. I tried to order an E90 M3 in Nogaro Blue, but was denied the color. A year or two later, I ordered an E92 M3 and secured approval for Nogaro, but Santorini made its debut during that time and it was just too close to Nogaro to make it worth spending the $7500 that BMW was asking for it. So I went with Atlantis metallic.
I wish I had more interior pics! I'm in most of the interior shots, so new ones without me in them will have to wait until the car is stateside. I have a few notes on interior options that I'll drop into the waiting room thread.

Looks brilliant in Nogaro. It takes me back to the Earl's Court Motor Show, London in 1994 or 95 when Audi released the RS2. There are a few Audis around in Porsche colours (riviera and viper come to mind) but I really can't remember seeing a Porsche in an Audi colour before.
However, more than your colour choice I admire your patience! What was the total time from initiating the order/PTS request to car collection?

It does look a bit like in between BMW's San Marino or their Santorini Blues. Either way, truly beautiful. I just wouldn't have the epic amount of patience it takes to wait for Porsche to mix some new paint for you.
Santorini Blue. My initial plan was to order an M4 in this color, until I drove the C2S.
San Marino Blue was my second choice for the M4 I never ordered.
