I'll go one better; I monitor my tire wear and as long as they are wearing evenly I know my alignment is fine. Still on the factory alignment and I just passed 50K miles last week. I also check my tire pressures every week.

Waze.com has alerted me ahead of time and saved my cars FBC, etc., more than once in similar circumstances. Glad to hear nobody was hurt. T

What planet are you from? Every other means every second or in this case every 20k miles.

In-between means, well, in-between. In this case that would be every 5k. Not every other. lol

I think you need to type slower so YOU understand. Does this help you?

Quick update - they threw on the PSS's yesterday and oh my goodness is there a difference in ride quality already. So much road noise and unpleasant vibration just magically disappeared!

I was out test driving a Land Rover Sport, someone else ran over a lug wrench and shot that thing across 5 lanes of I-270. Skittered across the road like it was shot from a cannon. Hit the Jersey wall, bounced off right in front of me and whacked the guy one lane over, just to the right/behind me. Road debris is some scary stuff.

With that Saab, was there a part of you that wished otherwise?

no, fortunately it was a $250 per month lease and was a great airport car! Sad thing was that 1 year into it, it was already worth less than its 3 year residual.

I had a tire incident today. Started up my 991 GTS and low psi tire warning came up for the back left tire. Found the nail causing the leak. Called my tire ins. Company. (Paid $1200 for 5 years of protection). Covered. Brought it to Porsche Fremont to have the Cup 2 replaced. They hoisted it up and found another odd piece of metal in the right rear. They called ins and guess what? COVERED! That makes 3 rear tires covered in 1 year and pays for the ins.

I'm paying for the 2 fronts since the tread was getting low.

Best part - I took my 7 year old son out of school as my wing man. We had a good drive down and talked cars for a few hours while we waited.

Great day.
