I'd quickly take it to an independent party on the way to the dealer. Wonder what else they didn't tell you.

you should do a paint meter the whole body of the car, except for front/rear bumper... Also, check the VIN sticker around the car to make sure it didn't get replace.

Your car is full of over spray. That's what you are feeling on the paint and glass.

That odor is most likely normal. It's the fast car smell.

I'd be more worried that I didn't notice this BEFORE I bought the car. You might want to take a really, really good look at the rest of the car and see what else is wrong.

Thank you guys
i am going there tomorrow to show them the car

i was hoping that if i buy a car from porsche dealer that i don't have to worry about staff like maybe car has issues

do you think i should take it to another porsche to check the car?

also why should i worry if the car has warranty anyway?

Wow, what a difference a dealer can make. When I was researching a CPO 911S from four states away, my salesman sent photos of every little scratch and ding in the car he could find, inside and outside, as well as photos of any and all specific areas that I requested. When I drove eight hours to look at the car and purchase it, it was EXACTLY as described. Full transparency.

I would NOT take it to another Porsche dealer - I would find an independent (maybe a body shop?). I would want to know if other body panels had been repainted and if the car had been in an accident. And I would do so immediately.

I don't believe your warranty would cover this. But I would still find this unacceptable.

Still sounds very fishy to me... Did they tell you what the story is behind the clear peeling? Fix "what" exactly???

You know, that clear peeling -- is it possibly some poor attempt at spraying clear PlastiDip over the rear? Perhaps to protect from something? The rough feeling on windows and other areas sounds to me like overspray when someone uses PlastiDip without taping-off exposed surfaces. In this case clear. PlastiDip does come in a clear coat finishing color and I've seen people use it to protect their car on track days.... If you rub hard enough, the 'dip coating will peel off, and if it was a bad spray job and too thin would peel off exactly as your picture indicates. Something I would check on anyways. That would be a whole different story than a collision repair job that was repainted poorly! And a whole lot easier to fix too!

Good Luck!

Can you post picture of your whole car with the fixed bumper?
