None of them are that I know of.

Edit:
Oops I stand corrected.

In looking at wheel descriptions from suncoast some are and some are not.

My understanding is that the CL wheels on the GTS are forged.

So on Porsche's US website configurator, the only wheel that it states as "forged" is the Turbo wheel. However, when I found the wheel I was interested in, the RS Spyder, it states that it's forged on a Porsche accessories

website.http://porscheaccessories.ca/tequipm...mer-tires/2097

(Haha this reminds me when I researched BMW F10 M5 wheels and discovered that the 601M wheel included on the competition package is not forged but the standard wheel offering 343M is forged. Lots of conflicting BMW published information before I got to the source.)

I also found this site listing lots of older Porsche wheels (only a few that I found were forged).

Anywho, the only true way to tell is to get the weights for each OEM wheel or talk to the actual manufacturer(s). You would think that Porsche building one of the lightest, if not the lightest, class of sports cars in the world would use primarily forged wheels. Perhaps casting technology these days has advance to point where they are near equivalent?

I find the English language so interesting. "Forged" wheels are good, but "forged" checks are bad. Anyway, the 991 Turbo and Turbo S wheels are forged (5 bolt and CL).

Contacted Porsche NA and they were zero help, simply read what's on consumer web site and said that she couldn't find out because all wheels are manufactured by third-parties.

Contacted BBS and they stated that all Porsche wheels manufactured by them are cast. However, they could not verify exactly which wheels they manufacture for Porsche.

Don't know why I care so much as it really doesn't even matter since I'll never push car to the limit enough, and not even sure if it would matter if I did.

Even the few forged wheels Porsche offers (very few), are still heavy tanks. An HRE or Forgeline wheel drives circles around any OEM Porsche wheel.

Whatever they mean by "forged", not near the weight savings and quality of the other guys I mentioned.

Bluehorseshoe start looking for that car now!

I believe the GTS CLs are forged. Other than that I can't comment.

Is there any sort of comparison which shows how much stronger a forged wheel is versus a cast wheel?

Agreed. There is room for improvement, but again it's an OEM wheel so they're not necessarily striving to be the lightest out there.

Luckily though, as you mentioned, there are solutions in the aftermarket which are substantially better for performance, especially now that we have 991 R101LW sets which despite being 20x8.5" weigh as little as 16.50lbs and the rear 20x12 weighs 19.4lbs (991 Widebody Fitment).
