Anyone else with full leather seeing this?
Does this look right? I have a 2012 Carrera red full leather and on the drivers door just above the metal accent strip there seems to be a ridge/crease that runs the length of the panel. Just wondering if this is just an expected observation with the leather aging or if there is something wrong. The ridge is slightly palpable and just seems to catch the light enough to make the shadow look worse. I've tried to rub it but it won't smooth out. The passenger door has a similar appearance but only for about 1\2 the panel; the other half is smooth. The rest of the dash looks normal. The car is under CPO warranty now...would this be something the dealer would fix?

i just had my 13 cpo c4s door panels replaced under warranty. it seems that the glue used in the panels on 12s and 13s was 'defective.' the panels were not flush to the window. not sure if that's what is going on with yours, but it may be worthwhile to pursue with your local porsche service

Looks terrible, would definitely get it replaced under warranty at the dealer.

This happened on my 2014 981 after it got wet. Not as bad as this though. I applied a leather conditioner on it and it went away.

I am wondering if some water has possibly gotten onto this area of leather? Possibly from a drive through or having to get out of the car in the rain? I would recommend leatherique leather conditioner. Apply heavy and let the car sit out in the sun, windows up, and let it bake for a few hours. After that wipe down with the leather cleaner and imo that will most likely be removed, and the leather will look brand new. I would do this to all leather in the car if you have not kept up a regular regimen with high quality leather products.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. That is interesting some of you brought up if any water got on the leather because I did just have the windows tinted and I wonder if the solution they use to get the film to stick to the window got on the leather. I remember that area always having a light crease but I think it is much more noticeable now.
I'm going to order the leatherique cleaner/rejuvenator oil combo and give it s try. Thanks again for all the great suggestions. If it doesn't work i guess I'll take a trip to the dealer.
