The Techart costs about $10,000 to have installed (including the kit and service). By way of contrast, the new (front only) nose lift option on the 991.2 is about $2,500 as per the Porsche configurator. I was interested in the Techart until I saw the price difference between the two. If I were to get the Techart and then a week later get in an accident in which the car is totaled, that's $10,000 down the tubes. Yes, a fatalistic way to look at it but in car accident-prone So Cal, a very distinct possibility. I ended up buying a new front spoiler for $250 at Suncoast. It cost me $250 to have it professionally painted and my dealer's service department is going to install it for free when I have my car's 10,000 mile service. On the other hand, the Techart could theoretically pay for itself after 20 spoiler replacements, but even under the best of circumstances, I would imagine that the front spoiler would still get a little banged up, even with the Techart installed. In my opinion, the front spoiler and the exposed radiators are the achilles heel of the 991 GTS. I can only imagine the spoiler carnage if I had SPASM (my GTS cab has PASM).

Yeah it's expensive, but I think it's still cheaper than other lifters which can cost upwards $10k including labor.

Note to self: When upgrading to a GT3, do not buy one with front lift!

A few questions... Is ride height changed after the new springs are installed? Ride quality? How does this system compare to the factory system? Faster or slower? How long does it take to lift up?
