Very nice, no doubt. And, you got the best color of course for the GTS.

Question about the alcantara seats. Do they get warm? I'm a little worried that they get too warm and will also wear like alcantara steering wheels?

GSIRM3: Nice!

jlee504: I prefer ventilated seats honestly, but I also prefer the look and grip of the alcantara seats. Does it get noticeably warm? Absolutely. Would ventilated seats mitigate this? Absolutely. Its hot and sweaty here in MS, and had I had the chance to option the car, among the many things I would have optioned differently, I would have chosen ventilated seats. Its nice to have that option, especially if you live in a hot climate. Funny thing is, my other car has the ventilated seat option that requires turning on every time I get in the car, but I don't even bother because the AC is so damn good. The AC in this car, I haven't checked yet because I drive with the windows down lol.

I am bias to white cars. Mine just turned 1 year old with 6000 miles on the clock. I am still loving every time I get in and turn on the key enjoying the PSE cold start. You've got a rare specimen there! Enjoy!

Congrats and welcome to the gts club.

Nothing gets hotter than leather imo; the alcantara seats are the way to go. Even ventilated, they take a while to cool down.

Thank you! I will definitely at some point have to switch them out with the tinted RS tail lights and do a before and after. I haven't felt the need yet.

alcantara seats allow no air movement whatsoever. In fact I'll say they seem to trap heat. In Germany this wouldn't be an issue in any part of country during any season. Here in the states it's just uncomfortable especially during the spring and summer months. I lived in Tucson during the late spring where it was 100 daily and drove an old 1999 Honda CRV. No matter what I did, i couldn't prevent my back from sweating and drenching my shirt. I would hate to imagine driving around with alcantara seats....

Not sure what you mean.

Alcantara material absorbs less heat and therefore gets less hot given the same temperature exposure. It has a much higher UV reflective index than leather. Who cares about "breathability" - when the material doesn't get as hot to begin with there's no need to ventilate it.
