Does anybody know if the SD package was an available option for the Base for the 991.1? ...or was this just for the S and GTS?

I should imagine it will be released with MY17/18 cars if not before...

Me too! But I will uncheck another block to stay within my self imposed budget. I really like the look.

How much was the 991.1 SD package? $2500 or so? I think the full Aerokit was around $5500.

sadly I dont recall exactly how much the SD was, its one of the features that gets bundled with the GTS package, if you can wait, I would wait for the .2
GTS ...

makes me wonder if they also were "announcing" the X51 for the .2 which would make sense since its usually an "Exclusive" option too!

If I'm not mistaken, the 991.1 Sport Design Kit was a bit more than $2500. I seem to remember the ducktail alone costing somewhere in the $1900 or $2k range.

Sport Design. From the factory, front bumper and rear duck just over a $5K option if I recall correctly.

Aerokit Cup like $6K

Hmmmmm. OK at $5,000-$6,000 for a lip and spoiler I might uncheck that same box. Maybe the GTS will be avail at that time and include this and the other options I want at a price I am good with.

It's a whole different front bumper plus the rear spoiler.

The GTS is a bundled package, but not inexpensive. Like $15K more than an S model.

I only spent a few hundred hours on the 991.1 configurator so I was not that familiar with it. 981 and 991.2....I am all over it. I wish Porsche would keep up the legacy configurators so we can make comparisons.

So for the guys who lived on the web site during the 991.1 era, help me out.

My recollection on the 991.1 was that the SD package included the front lip spoiler (which was moveable like the Turbo) and a fixed duck tail. The Aerokit included the same thing but with another fixed wing above the fixed duck tail. Is this right?

I thought the GTS came standard with the front spoiler (like the SD package) but did not include the fixed duck tail or the aerokit. Is that right?
