There is definitely a blind spot, where when you're looking forward, cars can be too far back to be seen in your peripheral vision but not far back enough to show up in the mirrors. The 911 has excellent side windows for checking the blind soot by looking left and right though. If what you're meaning is a it's not like a Camaro with 3" windows that aren't big enough to check your blind spot at all by moving your head around, then you're correct.
