Not Italian, Brats!
Johnsonville Brats are served at RA.
Maybe Italian also. I never look at the menu, just order a double Brat.

That's pretty harsh. And rude. Do you even know who that man was, and what he's accomplished at Road America? You should do some homework. Shame on you.

Maybe next year you'll volunteer some time to your local chapter, or our Zone 13 Representative, and make this an even better event.

Yes, I know who he is/was, I had to listen to his story as he took us everywhere except where we wanted to go. He had to show us windmills from a a high vantage point at one point and all we wanted to do was get back to the Tent and Canada Corner to watch the start of the race which we never did..
We finally had to INSIST he open the van doors so we could watch the start of the IMSA race which we only barely got to the start/finish line.
Frankly the whole PCA Porscheplatzs experience was not that good.
My Volvo XC70 provided a much better platform from which to venture from and watch the race.
Didn't run out of water as the PorschePlatz did twice.
Much better to drive the XC70 than a Porsche and park way away from
the infield and have to experience the shuttle bus!-Richard

The travesty. Twice? Unacceptable to run out of free cold bottled water. This is why we need volunteers like YOU. Make sure you let Donna (your Milwaukee Region contact) know that you want to work and improve this event in 2017. Same weekend in August.

First visit to Road America.

We pull in to gate. As it turns out, only for pre-purchased tickets. They guy there is so accommodating and spends like 5 minutes giving us maps and telling us about everything.

So, we go to the next gate per his direction and main office to buy tickets. Very nice woman, even gives us free parking passes next to Porscheplatz. Actually thanks us for visiting the track!

Park in the Continental tire parking next to Porscheplatz. This is the one on the north part of the track. I think there are two of them? Anyway, walked over to see the cars and look in the tent. Very nice people. Ask if I'm a Porsche owner and ask me to fill out some info. Free bracelets for the family, free water and drinks, and nice access to their nicer porta johns with outdoor hand washing sinks. All unexpected, but much appreciated.

Only spent second half of the day there, but a blast and picture perfect weather.

Will be back next year.

I'm not sure. Just was going off of what the WeatherTech girls were saying. Kept talking about needing some Sheboygan sausage while in town after work

I'm not sure who makes the brats but each food vendor site is operated by a different local charity. Best brats are on the hill between 5 & 12. From the picture posted about 12 (Canada Corner), you were on the wrong side. From the other side you can see them coming into 12 and rocketing thru 13. The sound was much better when there was a tunnel at 13. Thought about coming this year but got tied up in a golf match Sunday.
