I'll be transferring the plates from my 550 to the new Porsche.

I'm sure some might take it the wrong way but its meant as "you would love this car" not like its something unattainable (like an exotic) and "you'd love to be able to have one"

I've only had one person (at least thats said something) take it the second way, once I explained it as "this car is great you would love one" he understood.

Ah ok. By the way, how'd you like the F355? I've always wanted to pick up at 360 for a weekend car but know I should probably focus my monies on something boring like "investments" or "retirements" instead.

My mother has a 2016 Range Rover with plates "K9S 4ME" because we are a dog family. (We rescue dogs. have 4 of our own, and help cover the costs of folks that rescue dogs but can't afford their spay / neuter)

I had the 355 for almost 5yrs and loved it for a weekend car, but the maint. on that model is expensive. The 360 is better since you don't have to remove the engine for the 15k, 30k, 45k etc.. service. Get ready for a lot of attention if you get one, people will chase you down on the freeway just to take a picture, stop you at the gas station and ask you a ton a questions like "what do you do for a living"

Ultimately I ended up needing something I could drive daily and not worry about breaking, yet still go on weekend runs. The 911 was a perfect fit..

Love the plate! But then again, I'm biased:

1. White cabriolet (2014 4s)
2. Cabernet Blanc - a Swiss/German engineered Cabernet varietal produced to be both disease resistant and damage resistant (e.g., hail, etc.). We purchased this car about two months after I "binned" our 2012.5 silver C2s cab on the way to Rennsport V. Thought a little good karma might help this time around.

After hearing your car on Saturday, the sooner the better!! But I'll probably wait to hear the SpeedTech system before making a final decision.

Thought about getting one that said U-WIN, to try and stop the pickup truck and other challengers, but would probably just make things worse!

I applied for that plate on the NY DMV system.

It was available and I got back a letter of rejection with numerous list of possible causes.

Someone else has 911 GTS which the system states is not available.
