Thoughts on this car?
Hello Guys,
New to Porsche and new member here. Always wanted to get into the porsche family, but their high price and the maintenance costs kept me out of it. Drove different BMW's over time and am finally in a position to afford an M3. Was about to pull the trigger on it a while ago when the thought occurred to me to may be check some decently spec'd used 991.1 Carrera S models for that price. And so I started looking, which landed me on to a listing from one of the dealers for a 2014 Carrera S in guards red with 15k miles on it. It has all the below on it
PDK
18 way sport seats plus
bose
premium pkg
sport chrono
sport exhaust
pasm
spacers
painted black wheels
led headlights pdls+
sport steering
park assist
This is exactly how I would want my car to be including the color, but the only and big problem is that it is a demo car. I understand that it might be ok if the car has around 2-3k miles on it and being a demo. But 15k demo miles is a lot of abuse on any car. They've made it a CPO and posted it for sale for around 86k.
As I am completely new to Porsche and to 911's, please help me out in deciding about this. Should I even consider this car or is it too much abuse? Does the CPO save me from all of that? If I can consider, what kind of questions do I need to ask? It will be greatly helpful
Thank You for reading!

Here is the Carfax. It looks clean. This vehicle has not been titled yet. They did not advertise the msrp, but I am guessing it could be in the 130's. I do not want to contact the dealer just yet before preparing myself on what to ask for.

Yes, that is a lot of abuse. But this is the perfect color/spec I wanted. Finding it hard to pass on
Does it being a CPO help me?

Based on the info you have provided, I would not hesitate.

Does it being a CPO help me?CPO is good for an extra 2yrs warranty. If you don't keep cars past the warranty, you have nothing to worry about. You're covered.
When I put the car with its options and model year in KBB, it is showing a CPO Dealer value of around 87-89k. But that is for a normal car (not a demo). Dealer advertised it at 85.5k. I am assuming this should be at (or I shuold ask for) a bigger discount than that. How much leeway do you think that I have here?

Porsche's are tough cars. Look at the brakes, tires, service history, and give it a good drive. Go ask the head of service at the dealership for his honest opinion. In the past my SA at my dealership has been very honest about which used cars to stay away from. It nothing feels wrong then it's probably fine. A 2 year old car that has seen a dozen track days could easily be way more abused than this demo. Plus it's CPO.
I'll also add that prior to my 991.1 C4S I bought a 2014 981 Cayman S demo which had about 2200 miles on it. Car was fantastic and never had any problems. My dealership bought it back from me on the trade in for the C4S and gave me a very fair amount.
Buy it.
