Also so thinking of changing the wheels up a bit. I really like the wheel design but cleaning is real pita and now I’m wishing they were a bit darker.
I hear you on the mesh, which I avoid for that reason despite often liking the look. I really wish the BBS RI-D was available here in the U.S. They actually offer proper RI-D fitments for the NB 991.2, unlike the FI-R, and it's easy to clean. I also keep looking at certain Forgeline wheels. There are some others, as well.

I was looking at the Titan7 - S5. It's basically the same design but 1/3 the price and still fully forged. I have a hard time justifying $8-$10k+ for wheels. https://titan-7.com/collections/whee...19636164788312. The rear fitment will also allow me to go back to a 305 rear.

Do you know what notch your rear springs are at? The rears are adjustable and I'm taking my 2017 back in this week to have the shop drop the rear a bit. I have TechArts as well and the rear is sitting a bit high for my taste. Yours looks perfect to me! I'm running the stock 20" S wheels.

Let us know how that turns out. This height adjustment on the rear is mainly to control the weight distribution on the car and the lower you go, the more you transfer the weight to the front, which should help with handling. 👍

I have no clue. Sorry.

New wheels from Forgeline arrived today. Will be mid Sept before I can fit tires due to upcoming vacation. These are 19x 9 front and 19x11.5 rear for 265 front tires and 305 for rear. Custom offsets. I purchased these from BGB.
PM for the offsets as I don’t want to give to their competitors for free but really flush fit for a 991.2

I believe it's the other way around. The higher the offset, the more inward the wheel is being pushed. Said another way, it's not like you added a 6mm spacer, it would be more like you shaved 6mm off the actual wheel hub connection point.

BTW, I'm only bring it up as I'm researching wheels and finding a lot of "compromise" on off the shelf options even from established brands like BBS.

What stout is referring to is that the 991.2 narrow body hubs are wider in addition to the changed offsets.

I agree that the narrow body fitment options are fairly limiting. I am looking at 19×11.0 ET63 and 19×8.5 ET53 and wondering if it's going to be to my liking... or go custom. However I really want to go w/ BBS...

Got it.

BTW, I'm looking at the BBS as well. FI-R's to be specific, but the off-sets just seem a bit off.

I would suggest looking at the RI-D then, which is what I’m doing now...assuming you’ve a narrow body 991.2.

HRE makes their wheels with perfect flush offset.
