Default Dumb question

what are the wheel spacers for. I see them as an option from Porsche so they must be approved.

Some do it for looks. Moves the wheels out so they look flush with the wheel well.

Some do it to fit wheels to a car that would not normally fit over brakes or has clearance issues with suspension components.

PCNA approves of 5mm spacers only. I have them on my last two 911's. I am still not sure that they make a noticeable difference filling the wheel well. If I had to purchase again, I probably wouldn't as the cost does not justify look. Just my 2c.
