For those of you that have non metallic carrera white paint on your cars, how has "touching up" paint chips been working for you? I understand that white is a tough color to match.

It's spelled C A R R A R A White.
The 991 is NOT Carrara White. I don't want you to order the wrong color.
The Porsche touch up paint works pretty well in some spots. The DR Color Chip works well in others.

Bad. My car is white. Just white. The free color. Bought white Porsche touch up paint for a tiny spot on rear bumper. The two whites do not match wish I had left it alone. Spot was so tiny--now I see the different white every time I look at the bumper.

The big problem is that when we get a stone chip, the black primer (is it primmer, and why black?) underneath is so very obvious.

Interesting, thanks. I wonder if they changed the color or just the name. I guess I'll need to try both!

Look for your paint code. Either on the door jamb sticker, or in your owner's manual from the delivery sticker, on the first few pages.
Carrara White is code B9A
White (sometimes call Pure White) is code C9A

The 2012.5 991 was Carrera White......the 2013 on was listed as White, and they are two different whites. I researched this when I bought my 2013. So if you have a 2012.5 991 your car is Carrera White. If you have a 2013 on 991 it is White. Hope this helps.
