Really a classic look now......I did not like the all black center locks for my Targa GTS...I was able to order from the factory the Turbo S wheels....I like the silver/black combo on the TARGA...YOURS LOOK GREAT ON ALL SILVER CAR

Thank you, Werks 1. So it was you. I referenced the fact that somebody had gotten Turbo S CLs on a GTS in a recent thread, but couldn't remember who. You might want to weigh in and post some pics on here:

Thanks for the kind words everybody. I've really enjoyed the new wheels these past couple of weeks. The "new" still hasn't worn off and I can't stop myself from looking back when I park, even though I furtively look around first to make sure nobody's watching me. Of course, they're a pain in the *** to wash, but no more so than the black ones if you wanted to actually get those clean. The difference is, if I was in a hurry (not uncommon when washing cars for me) I could spray the blacks and then sort of swirl a brush around them quickly and get on with life. The silver allows no such negligence.

My first thought---you would regret this decision and it would be a mistake----I was very wrong.

The results are quite impressive---keeping them clean is another story 😎.

PCCB s are a must for me. Your GTS looks unique---great result.

Cheers

I will never get a Porsche w/out PCCB. I am so sick of the dust on my wheels. Lessoned learned but financially stupid choice in the long-run

One's saved time cleaning alone would pay for the PCCB's over time. I'd save an hour per wash and the car would stay cleaner longer

I'm reviving this thread to show folks what the cxx wheels painted from the Porsche factory look like. The OP helped me decide to go this route by creating the thread so just want to add to it.

Default Thanks gentlemen!

My '18 C4 GTS arrived at the San Diego Port, yesterday. The order was placed April 10. Prior to the order, I went round and round with the dealership because I wanted the turbo wheels in GT silver. I was repeatedly told it could not be done. Damn! Fortunately, there is a company here that can do it after market at not too crazy a cost. Thanks for the roadmap on what I would like them to look like.

Yep. I begged Porsche Exclusive Atlanta for Turbo S wheels and they repeatedly said not an option (it seems Werks1 was able to get the turbo wheels on a .1 GTS). The options were paint to any Porsche body color. And I have GTS Silver.

By the way Yana at Porsche Exclusive was awesome to work with. I must have sent her 20-30 emails with questions and she always responded asap. Very professional, helpful and great customer service. Overall very pleased with my experience dealing with Porsche Exclusive

Sorry. I was not clear in my last post. I was told turbo S wheels standard in polished finish were not available for '17 and '18 GTS models. But the black GTS wheels that are essentially turbo S wheels can be painted any body color such as GT silver. I had to work through Porsche exclusive in Atlanta to do so however.
