Trying to imitate the .2 exhaust sound?

Did anyone else think we were seeing the first R delivered to a customer?

Julian, I forgot to ask. Bournemouth is a long way from Cheshire; how did you end up buying from there? Previous experience, recommendation?
I'm very impressed that the OPC rep coordinated all this for you, a great ambassador for the dealer and brand. I might drop you a PM about the exhaust.

Thanks all - Steve - the car took me ages to find because I wanted a fresh one to work with - the others for sale all had several thousand miles on the clock.
As it turned out, as has been said it is a real credit that Paul (who is in the parts department there) was a) able and b) allowed by the dealer principle to actually do all this.
I'll go through it as I get chance on here but it took a lot of time and effort on everyone's behalf which was freely given, I have to say. I also got excellent pricing on the parts, and now Paul will drive his parts van full of the old original bits up to me (about 230 miles!) to drop them off.
Let's start with the gt3 wheels and Michelin cup tyres.
Ordered in from Germany and sent away by OPC Bournemouth for treatment. I had the back halves done black to help with keeping it looking good especially if i miss a bit with the sponge!
