Default Help Deciding

Hi everyone,

I currently own a 07 997TT 6-spd w/terracotta w/48k miles that I bought back in Feb. from RL. Since owning it, I learned to really appreciate it and understand how powerful they are. I drive a Civic as a daily, which I'm looking to sell and fully commit to driving p-car daily. However, I'm having a hard time fully committing to daily a TT and considering either trading or selling it for a 991 C4/S PDK. Part of the reason why I bought the TT was to make my 265 mile weekly commute to work "fun." But, the TT spends most of the time in the garage.

Has anyone moved from a 997TT to a 991 C4/S? If so, may you share your experience and differences (pos and neg)? I may miss the torque, but a CPO C4/S would fit my bill as a DD. Also, I don't exactly have enough garage space for 3 cars.

I did just the same thing moving from a white 997tt to a red 4S. I loved the TT and wished I figure out a way to keep both. I have now had the 991 4S for 3 years. It is an amazing car. I had 4TT Porsches in total so the wide body and AWD are what I really like.
This is an awesome car, more civilized and I screamer when you drive it up in the range. I have a Kline exhaust for more growl and the Cobb AP for more grunt. Great car I'm keeping for the long term. Having a NA Porsche car again is a great drive. I DD it to work (15 miles on windy horse country roads) and put it in hibernation in the winter. You won't be disappointed in the long run even though you will originally miss the kick in the butt acceleration of the TT.

Good luck post whichever way you go.

Beautiful 4S! I wish my commute was 15 mi or else I wouldn't be posting. Part of my commute is winding back roads but mostly highway. I'm set on a AWD, to make it more of a DD for all seasons here in NC. Thanks for sharing.
