These wheels definitely have the most "muscular" stance of all the 991 wheels i've seen. They also look much more different when finishes are combined like above than most wheels. Optical illusion. I have seen them tinted in full grey which looked really nice on the cars they were on, but not any like you are describing.

Not in body color, but a painted black on on a white car. I like the contrasting colors.

Are those sizes right? Here's what suncoast shows on the CSIII wheel page:

Size: Carrera/Carrera S
Front - 8.5 x 20 ET 51 - 245/35 ZR 20
Rear - 11 x 20 ET 70 - 295/30 ZR 20

Size: Carrera 4/Carrera 4S/ Targa / GTS
Front - 8.5 x 20 ET 51 - 245/35 ZR 20
Rear - 11 x 20 ET 52 - 305/30 ZR 20

Which doesn't make sense to me either, I would have thought the Base/S should be 11/295 in the rear and 4/GTS 11.5/305.

Sport technos are .5 inches wider than the standard wheels on the rear. GTS may have different wheels though.

I don't see the littler sideskirts that the Widebody 911's have, so I think it's a standard S.

That's a 4S.......you can see the black sideskirts below the painted white rockers.....just barley.

Very nice car.

Yeah it's a 2013 4S. Picked it up a few weeks ago. I wasn't as keen on the wheels when I first saw pictures of them, but when I saw it in person, much different.

And yeah the lighting is bad so the side skirts look blended into the shadows.

Here's another shot.

Ahh yes you're right! I totally missed the 8.5 on the standard wheels.

That said, it's probably why the Sport Technos weigh more too.

Ahh yes, that is very true too. No really small grooves and plenty of space between the spokes to fit cleaning apparatus in.

Anybody know if Suncoast only sells the 991 wheels as "wheel packages"? Most of the higher end 991 wheels are sets at 6999 with tires, but no mention of just buying the wheels.
