No sunroof, 7speed manual, just still the right amount of options imho.

Thanks .... I forgot I started that thread and hadn't read a single post on it until now. Funny how people get worked up ... market and my desire to sell will collide at some point. Don't really want to sell but I should.

Personally with this latest GTS acquisition I'd like to think I've retired from car buying. We splurged as it is, and the era of large displacement NA motors is coming to an end...

Cheers to the GTS gang. 7MT and Alcantara, though I did opt for the glass sunroof as I use it quite often in LA and I think it looks beautiful with GT Silver.
I think my car is worth $750,000, but I'll wait another 60-70 years and see whose LaFerrari I can trade for. Is... is that a good plan?

Yep. I have a search engine set up with the Porsche search agent and there is very little MTs. Still early though and leases are not coming off yet. Most of these are probably flips, repossessions etc. lol

My used low miles '15 GTS manual went through a bunch of price reductions before I bought it. The clean Carfax had it onsold through a couple of dealers. Doesn't seem like something in widespread demand to me, but that can change over time, especially with rarity.
When I was taking it off the lot, I did have a bunch of folks from around the dealership (owner, sales & service) jazzed for the car and the dealership manager was offering to take it back for a good price whenever I wanted to sell or trade up. He did say it was ordered and previously owned by the owner of the US wide dealership chain. So it was nice and all, they seemed pretty sincere, but at the same time it sounded like trade up salesman BS...who knows?
I don't really care too much about valuation because I love my first P-car and both the NA engine and MT shifter are supremely fun to drive and I am going to put some miles on this sucker. I'll eat used car depreciation for that.

You Neanderthals with the damned 7MT crack me up. I hope there are many more MTs to make my PDK rarer, yet.
Full disclose: above it tongue-in-cheek.
I drove MTs for 20yrs and got bored, I'm 39 now and loving the PDK.
Bottom line our GTSs are instant classics so enjoy them in good health and to hell with their appreciation or depreciation. We won't take any of it with us either way.
