Good afternoon...

I recently (April 4) ordered a Targa 4S. The gentleman I deal with, today gave me a commission number to track the manufacturing process.

I would appreciate any feedback on how to do this?

You go back to the gentleman and ask him to do it. There is no other way for a buyer to track the manufacturing process. Sorry :-(

Hmmm, can't believe BMW is ahead of Porsche on this. When I had my build info, I could track the progress of my M3 build from start to end.

I just pinged my SA once a week and he sent me the progress report. Once it was on a ship I was able to track that using some public websites and then obsess about the delivery as often as I wanted. Seeing it come through the Panama Canal on the live feed was pretty cool. For me. Not for anyone else that I tried to show and get excited about it

My SA handwrote all the major dates. It is very different from BMW. Hard to believe there isn't a better tracking system. What's your delivery date? I ordered a couple weeks after you and mine isnt coming until mid November.
