I also like the side decal, but maybe...without the porsche letters. I would subs it with just black stripe or maybe a little 911 letters. But to each his own.
The "GTS" in the back looks great! Do you have some do-it-yourself tips or perhaps do you have a link with tips on how to do it? I'd like to do that myself - thanks!
Check out "Added Side decals today" thread above. I think there are some good video links there.
Best bet, you can get it the old letters off with fishing line or dental floss and then use some remover (googone??-- not sure if safe for paint but someone here will know for sure.....
Then, I would tape off the area after you have measured it where you want it.
OEM, the car has 2 lines of text:
P O R S C H E
911 Carrera GTS
So if you are reducing to just one line, you need to decide where you want it. I wanted the GTS centered in the middle so I made a quick cardboard cutout and then ran painters tape around the edge so I had the sides top and bottom secure. Then I just eyeballed it.
(I didn't do my 911, but I'm doing this to my wife's PT.) She wants just:
P O R S C H E
turbo
in all black so Im going to pull off the Panamera and turbo text and recenter the turbo part.
