991.2 S Performance on a 991.1 S with COBB Accessport possible?
Hi,
Just a hypothetical question (apologies if this is a dumb question).
Now that you have the option to load custom maps in your 991.1 S with a COBB port with noticeable gains in HP and Torque, also the fact that you have the stock map for 991.2 S available the question I have is, is the following even possible?
1. Load the stock map of a 991.2 in a 991.1.
2. If (1) was possible then does that mean are we talking 991.2 performance on a 991.1 (with the COBB port) and enjoy the music of the NA engine..
Or is this just a dumb question?
Thanks.

Nope
Short answer "no"... You are overlooking the presence and absence of there turbo charging on the .2 vs .1 without the benefit of the charge the .1 cannot make the same low end torque that the .2 can ... It's a simple matter of physics it's a heat engine and the extra cool air in makes for more torque out ... No fuel air map can make up for that
