This one has been in the family for a while... Last name starts with "b" and 8 was my mom's lucky number... her cousin used to run the DMV in MA and gave this to her on her 50th B-day.
In MA you cant get a plate that starts with a number anymore, and hard to come by 3# plates anymore too.
100% true story, 2 years ago at a Red Sox game some guy came up to me in the parking garage and offered me $10K for it because he said he had "777" on his 720s mclaren and wanted this for his 458... Who knows if he would have actually coughed up that much, but I turned him down on the spot, never giving it up
Im in Mass my family had some Long time plates, 454J and 582R. They all have since passed and I let those plates go. Never really knew the significance of the plates, think it was a status thing back in the 70s on the old Sedan De Villes lol
