Ugh, happens a lot. Usually in my neighborhood (where I am going ~20mph, speed limit of 30.)

Today it happened in a restaurant parking lot by a pack of morons standing in the middle of the street. One of them yelled SLOW DOWN at me as I went around them. Checked speed: 11mph.

PSE was on, so perhaps the throaty exhaust = "OMG FAST SAVE MY PRECIOUS SNOWFLAKE!"

Yes----it happens more than I would like---if the Person emphatically waves or uses exaggerated language I usually "blip" the throttle and wave. 😀

I have been known to wave with one finger depending on how pissed off I am at that moment.

A lot of people are just jealous just looking to shoot their mouth off. Better to not acknowledge, although sometimes I have a problem not doing that.

Yes! This has happened to me about 4 times in and around my neighborhood. It's the PSE in sport + mode that does it. People think I am speeding when I come off the throttle and start the gunfire in the back. I've had people yell at me to slow down when I am going 5 mph under the speed limit. I finally had to stop and give some lip back to the last woman that yelled at me. I told here I had a loud exhaust and that I was not speeding. Geesh! She looked at me like I had a carrot growing out of my head. So I gave her some Zuffenhausen symphony as I sped away (under the speed limit)

Around my house and neighborhood I play it low key and quiet. Expect the same from others.

I've almost ran over someone. i dont know why they would run out in front of a "speeding" car. i was doing speed limit and some guy ran out into the street waving and yelling me to slow down. Then my wife turns to me and yells at me for speeding and almost running over someone. Next time i will run over the idiot for disrupting my marriage.

Yes, there was a man gardening in his front yard and he ran directly at my car and yelled slow down when I was going exactly the speed limit... 30 mph. I always downshift and floor it when someone tells me to slow down (if I'm not speeding, obviously). That really gets them going.

Yeah, all the time. Without sports exhaust engaged. Same with my previous Boxster S. People assume that if you have a Porsche, you must be a reckless *******. Probably the same people who think that counter steering to control a skid is counterintuitive.

I have to roll my windows down and tell those damn neighbor kids to slow down all the time! Always recklessly passing me in their damn bicycles! Who do they think they are, Sebastion Vettel? It's not safe!
