These just insert into the existing mount. Even the soft version fills in the open voids and should stiffen things up.

I would venture to say that most people will be happy with the softer bushing.
Is it more noise than vibration?? Last thing I'm looking for are rattles.

Any idea if stiffening this mount has any negative effects on the transmission?

More of both. you can hear and feel the clutch engagement at low speeds and 3,000 rpm and up is more vibration and less noise. I don't like it. I'm going back to stock after I pick up my son from school.

Good feedback! I'm wondering whether the softer bushing will be better, and if Function First would be willing to swap them for you.

On their website it says returns only for unused and unopened merchandise.

Car is back to stock it took me around 45 minutes drives so much better. I will wait for some one to try the soft inserts and maybe will give it a go.

I've seen posts from them where they will exchange for orange if you think the mounts are too stiff. You should at least do that in case you like them... I'm planning to order orange as well.

I will send them an email and see what happens. I can do the installation so fast I don't mind trying the soft ones to see how they feel.
