200 miles today driving N. GA mountains with a friend who just bought an m4. As much as I want a manual transmission, the pdk really impressed me today. Sport plus is amazing. He pulled on me as we entered the straights. I was all over the M in curves. Cannot imagine not having a 911 in my garage after today. Base ‘14 C2 and it was fun as **** today! I think I need a gts with a manual....

Just picked up a 991.1 4S Cab with a manual and drove it from the Bay Area to San Diego along the Pacific Coast Highway. What an epic way to get to know the (new to me) car!

I want to do that drive but scared of rock chips on a long road trip. Did you take any damage on that trip/route? I was thinking of taping up the front for protection.

Nothing I noticed save a few bugs. The car has PPF on all of the front-facing surfaces. Since it will be my daily driver, I am going to make an effort to ignore the normal wear and tear...

Didn't you buy this car to drive it?? This is a great road trip - don't pass for such a insignificant reason.

Beautiful car and pictures. Are you local to San Diego? Was driving behind a black 991.1 4s cab on the 5 on Wednesday afternoon that exited in La Jolla. Was that you? I didn't pay attention to the license plate - was too busy admiring the car and at the moment was wishing I had a cab ;-)

Here are a few from my drive from Bay Area to Vancouver this past April. These were all taken near mostly in Northern California. The last pic is at the Fairmont in Vancouver...always wanted to be parked at the front of a nice hotel!

You could always drive it indoors. Some parking garages have enough space to get into 2nd gear (or maybe 3rd).

Default Race track

Drove little over 2 hours to the race track. Spent the day driving fast and drove home. Love the fact you can drive this car to the track, race and drive home.
