Tired of winter and driving my truck, so I drove my 991 to a meeting at a copper mine in Utah. Not very scenic, but an interesting juxtaposition. Next time I need to park next to one of the giant haul trucks.
My friend and I met up this morning to take a nice, backroads drive. I was the lead car and upon arrival, he said, "man, your car really sounds good!" Great words to hear from anyone, let along your best friend who's driving a Ferrari 458 Italia! For the curious, my friend's license plate reads FIENO which is Italian for hay. It's his was of keeping a little hay in the barn.
The girlfriend and I spent a few days in Eureka Springs. A very eclectic little town, I highly recommend a visit. Painted water fall/rainbow Thorncrown Chapel Innside facing the alter.
Schonesland Porsche Club (Des Moines, IA area) overnight trip to Sioux City via the Loess Hills Scenic Byway - great roads and even greater people enjoying the twisties.
