Just heard it in person on a base Carrera - very nice and deep with good emotion. Does the 991.1 have an epically better sound track? Yes. Is the 991.2 very good - I think so.
To quantify that, to my untrained ears (my .1 had PSE as well) I'd say it's 70% as good -and that's based on hearing from while about 10 feet away.
The sound clips posted don't really do it justice, just as they can't fully capture the .1's sound track.
