Default Very Twitchy Stability Management

New 991 owner here. I have a Carerra S, 2012. With stability control on, the stability management is getting triggered by front tires on both left and right hand sweeping turns. The car does not generally feel unsettled at all when it happens, but I can feel the buzz in the steering wheel and the yellow light flashes. It triggered this morning while I trailed behind a Prius on a completely unremarkable turn on decent pavement.

Tire pressure is fine, I got the car with H&R lowering springs; as far as the tire age, I don't know how old they are but they are pirelli P-zeros.

Any ideas or common issues I should think about? The only thing I can think of is that maybe the H&R springs are causing the front wheels to hop ever so slightly.

Does not sound right. I have SPASM and do not experience this on aggressive corners.

+1. My initial thought was tire pressures, but sounds like you've already checked that.

Seeing that the car came with the springs, that may be the culprit. The car shouldn't do that at all. You may want to have a dealer or an indie check it out.

Should not do that. Assuming they are the correct springs (eg spring rates) for the 991, the next thig to check is alignment settings.

What kind of temperatures were you driving in that morning? The summer tires really don't like to be cold.

I thought about that, too, but, what are morning temps in Austin? Looks like it 50-ish there in the AM. Shouldn't be an issue unless temps were below 40. But low 50s are not ideal.

Never had an issue like that. Could be the springs.
