What a build, every detail is so well thought out and it sounds like the car will flow perfectly. And to spec the last NA Targa with a MT, it will truly be a classic and a keeper. Amazing story! Add me to the list of those who can't wait to see pics.

Your car will truly be special. What a great story and look forward to seeing this beauty when she arrives. Cheers

It's all about the details eg991! The opportunity to enthusiastically spec the last NA targa was incredible. And going MT was a no brainer.

Not a single photo exists, Jim. Stuttgart is baby sitting the car at the factory until it gets picked up in June. This is all a lesson in patience and self control.

Takes one to know one 997.2GTS. I locked the build in November (IIRC) and the car was born in January. This has been a true test of patience but I have a far more pressing matter before June... the birth of my firstborn. 'Junior' is literally arriving today.

Please say a little prayer for The TorqueChap Family.

I dont even know where to begin? As one of my long-time "car friends" (and one of my best friends in life as well) i am so happy for you Torquey. This car is going to be a special machine....although more of a work of art if you ask me!

So lets see some photos ASAP and lets also plan the "sit in lawn chairs and smoke cigars in the driveway" very soon

Well you sir are on quite a roll...my best goes out to you and yours on this momentous occasion and congratulations DAD!

June will be the second "birth" in the family...2016 will be quite the year to remember!

Missed this thread too, as I have been away. Congratulations, a wonderfully specced GTS. It will most definitely be worth the wait.

Pearly, the words are heartfelt. What began as a shared passion quickly morphed into a lifelong friendship. Can't believe you remember my welcome ritual for the 993TT haha. Yes, lawn chairs and port-steeped cigars in the driveway for sure!
