Pretty much perfect if you ask me. Would love to do mine with Techart but roads/driveway won't permit.

We're huge fans of Techart Springs here at TAG. As many have already said, the drop isn't as aggressive as other springs but they definitely maintain a better ride quality. Here are a few photos of cars we have done on Techart Springs.
Below we have a .2 S, a .1 S, and a .1 Turbo.

The look of the 991.2 C2S is perfect, the 991.1 and turbo are too low for my tast. For the 991.2 C2S - how much lower is it than standard C2S? How will a 991.2 C2 compare? Thanks for showing these. And are these 21" wheels on the 991.2 C2S?

Cheers, -Peter

Anyone with Techart able to measure the heights from the floor to wheel arch ?. I find if you're on a flat looking area, then measuring the left and right heights across an averaging is usually pretty close. ?

I have spoken to Elephant Racing and if it wasn't necessary to remove the front spring clips to fit the perch, I would definitely be looking at that kit. At some point I will trade the car for a GT3 touring, probably 12-18m when prices come down to nearer GT3 991.1 prices. I really like the look of the Techart ride heights and would like to know how they measure up as pictures can flatter from some angles. TAG thanks for the pictures

Hi all I found this on the GT3 spring rates.

991-I GT3
Front: 45 N/mm (257 lb/in)
Rear: 120 N/mm (685 lb/in)

991-II GT3
Front: 45 N/mm (257 lb/in)
Rear: 120 N/mm (685 lb/in)

Peter,

All Techart Springs lower about 25-30mm regardless of model, and about 10-15mm on cars with PASM. The Turbo might give the illusion that it is lower because the wheels on that car are 21" all around. The wheels on the 991.2 C2S are actually 20", they are HRE FlowForm FF04. Another thing to keep in mind is tire brand. The 991.2 has Michelins, while the 991.1 C2S has Pirellis. Although the tires identical in size they sometimes differ slightly in shape and affect how the car looks once on springs.

Thanks for clarifying TAG - much appreciated. My 2018 C2 actually came with Pirelli P-Zero's. What's the price for TecArt springs installed by you?

Cheers, -Peter

Anyone confirm Techart spring rates ? I heard that they are about 25% stiffer the S, so about the same as Sport S at the front, but possible softer at the rear if the 108 n/mm rear is true seems wrong ?

Carrera2RS 02-05-2018 04:36 AM

I spoke to Techart in Germany and they do not release spring rates, but did say they are slightly stiffer than Sport springs and should sit 10mm lower, perfect ! I will see if I can get a set fitted ;)

Give us a call whenever you're ready, we can definitely get squared away with a set for your car!

Hi I’m in the UK so suspect when you add shipping to the US and import duties it won’t make sense. I’ll let you know what my shop comes up with on price!
