Why is it that only some vin numbers entered in to Vinanalytics require the advanced service? I'm checking cars at US dealers. But every once in a while it says only available w/ advanced service. Do we know why that is sometimes? Just curious.

I don't really need a build sheet since I have a 10-page report from Porsche using the Porsche Code for my vehicle.

But I was courious about VINANALYTICS and wanted to see how it matches up with my info and option codes. Strange that of the 22 options listed using the Porsche Code and window sticker, VIN added 3 more, one of which does not even make sense. And the price was wrong as well.

Now I have no idea where VINANALYTICS gets their data, but likely from Porsche; where else would they get it?
