What did you buy your 991 today thread

Yes had My Dealership install X51 power kit. to my 2017 991.2 Carrera S.
In Std drive mode no difference, Sport and Sport S you feel torque roll on and then Hp caps it off.
The engine has a Guttural animal sound coming from it now. The motor really runs strong and has tall legs.
Find myself running lower gears now to experience the Kit. 5th is my standard freeway gear to feel lively. When
they mention brake cooling ducking wasnt expecting replacing rear axel bearing carriers, looks like where allot of the work lies and a good percentage of the cost.

👍 Been the done that in early August. Huge grunt now. Feels more like a muscle car than a 991 when hitting the throttle. Best car money i ever spent. It is awesome now, especially with the Cargraphic exhaust mod I did last month. Now ir also sounds as good or better than any 911 I ever heard. AWESOME!!
Also is
here a market for the OEM turbos?

I can live with a CEL and Im hanging on to my cat takeoffs, just in case i have a problem or if i want to trade my 911 in the future.
From what I hear, the high performance 200 cell cats also do a vary nice job. But they do cost maybe $1200-1600 more than the downpipes i bought. I mentioned my takeoff turbos in an X51 thread, and immediately got an offer via PM. I asked for $3200 which was immediately accepted. I might have gotten more for them, but was happy at that price. Not for everyone, but it's my cup of tea.

Nice to know info, and I wonder if there is a market for stock cats...I have the ones off my new Targa GTS in the box that my Soul high-flows came in and I don't plan to use them.

It's the Rennline mount, I bought it from Suncoast: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/PKPM0103.html

Snow tires! This is a first as I plan to drive the car this winter. I just can't stay out of it. Anyway, the summer Michelins are totally worn (18K miles - not too bad I guess) and I am mounting the snows on my 19's. I am going to look for 20's to mount summer tires. Maybe I can find somebody that switched out OEM 20's for aftermarket.
I also got the Skene license plate bracket and will mount it tomorrow. I had PA tags but was paying double taxes, PA and VA, to avoid the front plate. VA requires the front plate. I succumbed.
Since I have had the car, I added clear front marker lamps, a bin for the frunk, a frunk hood liner, replaced the dash bright work with leather, and bought the Roadsterbag luggage and keep the one for the back shelf there all the time.

GT4 (short) shifter and Tarett front and rear sway bars and drop links! Track season next year is looking promising! Already bought Ohlins in August. This literally completes the car.
