My bank charges 0.00% and can pay them back if, and whenever, I feel like it. They only require that I plan a year or two ahead before I take the money from them.

Congrats on the new Turbo.

You might need gap insurance. Look into it.

Sounds about right, especially from a credit union. Helps to explain why Porsche and many luxury automakers had record sales in 2015.

What's unreal is that you would've thought these banks would have learned their lesson.

Wait until an inevitable major market and economic correction takes place. You'll be able to buy luxury cars on the cheap in the next couple years.

Cars are the next housing bubble. You'll have people walking away from cars that they owe more on than they are worth.

Eh, with a 1.49% interest rate, the loan length is basically irrelevant. For one thing, it's a depreciating asset that is going to lose 30% of its value in the first year. Just for conversation, if you finance $200k for 60 mo versus 84 mo (both at 1.49%), that only saves you about $2,500 in interest paid but the monthly payment on the 60 mo would be a thousand dollars more. Either way, you're still going to lose $50k+ on the car in the first year.

The last couple of cars I've bought, I put down ~35% to stay ahead of depreciation, then financed for 6 years. No regrets.
