Fabspeed and a few others have already come out with theirs

Perfection takes time. R&D of systems, prototyping, and testing can take a while. If you're paying for an Akrapovic system, you're paying for perfection, so the development phase for Akrapovic systems can take time. They want to make positively sure that every dollar you spend on their product is well spent.

No ETA yet, but when I have updates on the 991.2 system, I'll post them up for you

So, if I don't have PSE and would prefer the switch in the console to operate the exhaust, I would have to get the button and have my dealer program the car?

Can I get a PM on cost for a 2014 C2? Please go ahead and include the cost of the remote in case I don't get the car re-programmed. Thanks.

That is correct. You will have to buy the PSE console w/new PSE button and have the dealer program the car for it. Also sounds like you have a base 991 so you will need to have vacuum lines also extended if you do the OEM PSE setup. Alternatively you can get the wireless remote to control the valves albeit at a cheaper price than doing a PSE retrofit (which will cost you about $700 in parts and another $1100-1400 in labor depending on where you live).

That said I worked with TAG for my Akrapovic and went with the full PSE retrofit and I must say both TAG and the Akrapovic were awesome and well worth the time and cost expended.

Thanks for the kind words.

If you guys absolutely MUST use the PSE Button, then the full retrofit is necessary with the console switch.

BUT - there is another option for $700 retail that Akrapovic Sells which is their soundkit. This is a separate button that is small and compact that wirelessly (or via iphone) can actuate the valves. This system would save you all the installation costs for the PSE Switch - just as an FYI. Give me a call for more information.

Hi - can you PM me a quote for the slip-on vs. full titanium system?
Any issues with passing emissions with either? I'm based in CT and drive a 2015 Carrera GTS.

Also if I would like to retain the PSE button what what should I expect to pay for programming?
Any warranty issues I need to worry about?

Thanks!
